Magdalen College Chapel, Brackley

Brackley Wind Ensemble perform as part of the Brackley Music Festival in July 2009. Taken over two exposures in the beautiful Magdalen College Chapel. Not perfect but I like it for the way the lights 'hang' in the picture.

A Country Road in Oxfordshire

Taken on a whim whilst crossing a bridge near Banbury. Not perfect, but long corridors of depth are catnip to the amateur anaglyph photographer.

The Wall of Minis, Mini United, Silverstone 2009

A neat feature of this celebration of 50 years of the Mini was the 'Wall of Minis'; a Mini for every year of production. We were fortunate enough to have our own car on display as the 1998 example.

Lion Statue, British Museum

I didn't make a note of the Lion's origin (and would be interested to know). Taken in a hurry on an iPhone in the magnificent reading room courtyard of the British Museum.

Statues From The Parthenon, British Museum

More of an experiment than anything else, playing around with various 3D apps on my iPhone.

Cairngorm Funicular, Scotland

Taken on a sub-zero Easter morning in 2009. We're heading down from the Ptarmigan, a visitor's centre close the summit of Cairn Gorm; one of Scotland's highest mountains and a popular skiing destination close to Aviemore. If you ever find yourself in that part of the world, make sure you go to the top and check out the view. If it's misty (and it often is), check out the excellent haggis, tatties and neeps instead.
